Two saddest dogs in the world.

Not sure if it’s because their owner is so ugly or knows how not to talk to people

Me and Conehead go for a walk.
Usually I take the cone off before we go out in public. This morning I couldn’t be bothered.
I shouldn’t care about what the neighbors think! I love my coneheaded dog!

Sid’s a flat-faced dog with a giant neck.  Therefore, the only cone that fits him is comically large.

Sunday night, I started wearing a cone because my scab is not healing properly. I have been scratching it when it starts to dry. It’s fun.  :)  But I’m not having fun now.  Why oh why do  I have to wear this thing when I didn’t have to when I lost my balzac months ago? In fact, I look so morose that my dad took it off.

Devie stopped opening the eye and on the rare chance we could get a view we noticed that the surface no longer seemed smooth and rounded. There was a bump. The vet examined her and explained there was an ulcer on the surface of the eye. He put her under for surgery to remove the ulcerated cells and also smooth the epithilius of the eye so it could heal itself.
Devie went into surgery again and this time the vet sewed her eyelid shut to encourage healing.  Two days before trick or treat, Dev came home with a costume of a large ‘cone of shame’ and exposed stitches.
